"Personal Information" refers to any data that identifies or can be used to identify an individual, either alone or in combination with other information, collected or processed through the Services. This includes, but is not limited to, your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, date of birth, and any other identifiers or tracking provided during account creation or use of the Services.
  5. "Health Data" refers to any information related to an individual’s physical or mental health, including but not limited to diagnostic test outcomes, lab reports, lab visits, medical histories, treatment records, and personal health metrics, that is uploaded to, accessed via, or processed through the Services, and may be covered by separated Privacy Policy contracts.
  6. "Healthcare Data Contributor" refers to healthcare services or labs that supply your Health Data by uploading it to the Services for your use and management.

Data Retention

We retain your Personal Information and Health Data only for as long as necessary to provide the Services, enhance your user experience, and fulfill our legal obligations. This includes maintaining your account, processing Lab Results, and complying with healthcare and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, Swiss FADP).

Anonymized, de-identified, or grouped Health Data may be retained indefinitely for research and development purposes, unless you opt out of collection by contacting support@simplecheck.ch.

We delete identifiable data within 30 days of account termination, unless legal requirements mandate longer retention (e.g., for audit or compliance purposes), after which only anonymized data may persist for statistical or improvement purposes.

Children's Privacy

Our Services are not for those under 18. We do not knowingly collect minors’ data and will delete it if discovered. If you suspect minor data collection, email support@simplecheck.ch for deletion.

Data Protection Officer
